A marketplace
that handles [
the whole transaction.]

We build multi-vendor marketplaces starting from the operating model: who publishes the offer, takes the payment, fulfils the order, handles the return and receives the payout. The storefront is designed on top of that process.

I
Problem
/ Marketplace development

Multi-vendor is more than another dashboard.

One order can involve several sellers, shipments, returns and settlements. Without a clear ownership model, exceptions end up as manual support work and finance cannot reconcile the transactions.

II
Approach
/ Marketplace development

We start with the event ledger.

We define the lifecycle of an offer, order, payment, commission, return and payout. From there we design seller permissions, operator queues and integrations. Every financial change has a status, an owner and a trail that finance can reconcile.

III
Scope
/ Marketplace development

Marketplace scope.

  • Seller onboarding, verification and roles
  • Offers, catalogue and moderation
  • Order splitting and fulfilment routing
  • Commissions, payments, returns and payouts
  • Seller, operator and customer-service dashboards
  • Logistics and accounting integrations, plus monitoring

IV
FAQ
/ Marketplace development

Questions clients ask.

[ 01 ]Do you build marketplaces from scratch?

Yes, once the transaction and operating model has been defined. We can also add multi-vendor features to an existing commerce platform if its data model and integrations allow it.

[ 02 ]How do you handle payments and payouts?

First we agree the flow of funds, commissions, returns and the operator's responsibilities. Then we choose a payment provider that fits that model. Not every provider supports every market and scenario, so we check this early.

[ 03 ]Do sellers get their own dashboard?

Yes. Their permissions follow the process: offers, availability, fulfilment, returns, documents and settlements. The operator keeps moderation rights and a queue of exceptions that need a decision.

Let's test the marketplace model.

We will go through the sellers, the order flow and settlement, then define an MVP and the main integration risks.
